ACCESS Testing

Each year, the State of Illinois monitors language proficiency for all students who qualify for English Language Services.  The ACCESS test evaluates English proficiency in Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. If your child qualifies for bilingual services, he/she will participate in this test.  Testing will begin this Wednesday with each session taking about an hour.  Please be sure your child gets plenty of rest and a good breakfast each day.  Doing this will certainly provide him/her with the fuel necessary to be focused for these tests.  If you have questions regarding the specific schedule, please call our office at 847-357-5400 and we will connect you with one of our EL staff members.
