August 17th is the first Day of School for Grades 1-6 and all students in the ASD Instructional program. On August 17-18th, our staff will be outside to guide the children from buses and to their lines. Classroom teachers will be holding signs identifying themselves by designated doors. The doors are as follows:
Door 1 – 3rd and 4th grade
Door 2 – 1st and 2nd grade students
Door 3 – 5th and 6th grade students
All students in the ASD program will be escorted from buses or cars to their classrooms
As the year progresses, students will enter and exit the building every day at the designated doors above. Outside supervision will begin at 8:20. Please note, we ask that students arrive directly to school and avoid stopping at the park. There will not be adult supervision there to ensure safety.
Dismissal on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is at 3:00. Each Wednesday, dismissal is at 2:30. If you are picking up your child from school, please make sure to arrange a mutual meeting spot with your child ahead of time so he/she knows where to go at the end of the day.
