Our PTA would like to invite your family to participate in our Gobble Up Books Delivery event. With Thanksgiving and winter break coming up, we thought we’d help keep everyone busy and cozy with some reading.
If your family wants to receive free lightly used books, please complete this form- Gobble Up Books Delivery. We offer two ways for your family to get books: home delivery or curbside pickup (no contact). If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help us, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]. It’s hard to believe but 2020 is almost over and the holidays are just around the corner. This year, we are inviting you and your child to participate in the Aldrin Virtual Holiday Gift shop. We are very pleased to continue this school tradition in a virtual format and we hope you enjoy choosing gifts for your loved ones from the comfort of your home.
Here’s how it works:
Sometimes we come across obstacles in our lives that lower our overall level of happiness and disrupt our path to success. The fourth Optimistic Household module, Being Adaptive in the Midst of Uncertainty and Change, is now available for you to access with your family here: Optimistic Household homepage. You can also view the first three modules. Don’t forget to share your family’s experiences with us on social media with #OptimisticHousehold and #54Happiness or by sending photos and videos to [email protected].
In order to better meet the needs of our communities, there have been some changes to which district pantries serve each of our schools. Below you will find a link to the pantry that will serve our school beginning 12/1/20.

Next year’s scheduling for junior high is around the corner. Earlier in the week, our 6th graders had the opportunity to learn more about the courses they will be a part of next year and even had an opportunity to ask loads of questions during our 6th grade Zoom meeting with Frost. Today your child received a google form that will allow him/her to select electives for the upcoming year. Please be on the lookout for this form. The Elective Selection Google Forms must be submitted by Friday, December 11.
In addition, today the Junior Highs also shared a 6th Grade Parent Night video. Both the Elective Selection Google Form and Parent Video will be emailed to you by your student’s junior high administration. The goal for all videos is to provide specific information about junior high programming.
Have a fabulous weekend!
