School Information Day – Wednesday, August 7

Please mark your calendars for School Information Day which will take place on August 7 at Aldrin School.  You are welcome to come to the gym between the hours of 9 a.m.-11:00 a.m. or from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. to pick up your child’s class placement for the 2019/20 school year. Please note, the staff has worked diligently to place every child in an environment which best suits his/her learning needs; therefore, placement changes will not be honored unless there is an extreme circumstance.  During this event, all kindergarten parents will have an opportunity to sign up for an academic screening time which will take place during the week of August 19.  Our PTA will also be on hand with a variety of opportunities for you to become an active participant in your child’s education including becoming a room parent. They will also begin their initial selling of Aldrin spirit wear, year books and PTA memberships. They will accept both cash and checks at this time. Please consider becoming a member of the Aldrin PTA for $7.00.  It is through our membership that we are able to give directly back to the children.  For example, every child receives a book of their choice compliments of the Aldrin PTA.  The PTA also pays for all school assemblies as well as Agenda planners.  The list truly does go on and on so I am hopeful you will be able to support in this way.
