Dear Aldrin Families,

It certainly has been a very busy month.  We are wrapping up our winter MAP testing, and I am thrilled to say we have seen much growth this time around.  We know how hard your students have been working and it is exciting to see how many students have already met their Spring target scores.  As we reflect on the data, we continue to set high expectations for our students.  The staff teams have already started to make plans based off of the data.  We have no doubt we will continue to watch our students soar as we enter the next phase of the school year.

I also wanted to remind you that our parent/teacher conferences will be held much earlier this year.  When we return to school on January 3rd , you will be receiving your invite for student-led conferences.  Conferences will be held on January 12th and 13th, and we know our students will do an amazing job sharing out what they have learned so far this year.

I would also like to thank the staff and community members who donated to the Aldrin Really Cares fund.  I am proud to say together we were able to make the holiday season a little more jollier for 20 Aldrin families.  I want to let you know how appreciative the families have been and how thankful they are to be a part of such a caring community.  Each of you is what makes this such a special place to live and work!

Finally, I am hopeful that I will be able to see many of you at the Aldrin Community Sing Along/ Art Show this evening at 6:00 p.m..  This is an open event to all Aldrin families to enjoy singing along to some of the festive songs of the season.  If by chance you are unable to make it tonight, I would like to wish you and your family a very happy holiday.   Enjoy the time with your children and be sure to make every memory a lasting one!

Happy Holidays!

Mary Botterman
